Herb Workshop for Kids

$10.00

Kids ages 5-12 are welcome to join this herbal workshop where we’ll explore herbs and the many ways they support our health and well-being. In this workshop, kids will learn safe plant identification and handling, spend time creating art with plants, learn to make basic remedies such as teas and poultices, and connect with nature through hands-on exploration, crafting, and play. (Autumn, Winter, and Spring series will follow.)

Led by local herbalist and herb teacher Natalie Downey, owner of Moonday Naturals, and mother of six with over a decade of homeschool experience. Natalie has taught classes and workshops at Callaway Gardens, Columbus Botanical Gardens, and in private group settings.

Please plan for your child to potentially get dirty. Send them in clothes and shoes appropriate for being in nature, as well as with bug spray, sunscreen, and water. Parents are welcome to stay for the class or drop off their children. Younger children are welcome to stay with parents as long as they’re supervised and not disrupting class.
